With the arrival of coach Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich, the workforce of the 2nd in the Bundesliga behind Borussia Dortmund (1st), which the Bavarians face this Saturday (6:30 p.m.), could be changed in depth.

The former Chelsea coach could also bring at least one Blues player to the ranks of Bayern Munich. If Thomas Tuchel is thinking of Edouard Mendy and Mateo Kovacic, the Englishman Mason Mount seems closest to the German club. In conflict with his management over a contract extension, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder would have chosen to sign for Bayern Munich this summer, according to information relayed by journalist Ekrem Konour.

The German club would have been ahead, in the mind of the player, of clubs like Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United. It now remains, and above all, to agree with Chelsea for the Mason Mount transfer. The Blues, who have a big deficit, do not have the means to be very greedy, but the Englishman will not be sold for a paltry sum. The amount of 56 million euros is mentioned in particular.

Kolo Muani is getting closer

In another, more offensive register, Bayern Munich has been targeting the French team striker Randal Kolo Muani for a few weeks. The former Nantes player, who refused OL, is being tracked by teams with big financial means, like Manchester United and PSG. Eintracht Frankfurt, through its sporting director, has also recently stated, according to RMCthat the 24-year-old Frenchman would leave for a sum of around 100 million euros.

According to Sports1, Randal Kolo Muani would be open to a departure, and will say yes to Bayern Munich if the German club shows up for his services during the next summer transfer window. Eager to continue his progress in the Bundesliga, the tricolor international (6 caps) would like to join the Bayern workforce, judged “impressive”.

Currently, Randal Kolo Muani, effective this season (36 games, 17 goals, 14 assists), has a contract until 2027.
