PSG is in the process of recording a transfer within its workforce. A place in midfield should become available.
Return to sender for Idrissa Gueye. The Senegalese midfielder is very close to a comeback at his former club Everton. According to information from Sky Sports, discussions for an agreement are currently at a “very advanced” stage between the Parisian leaders and those of the Toffees.
Gueye will have spent three seasons in the French capital. Although he was never a potential starter, he was widely used by his various coaches, playing an average of 35 matches per season. During the last campaign, he was in the Top 10 of Parisians with the most games played (33). The exercise, however, ended in a sad way for the African champion since he had been at the heart of a controversy linked to the demonstrations against homophobia.
PSG is (finally) starting to slim down
In Paris, the departure of Gueye follows the arrival of Renato Sanches, but there is no link between the two transfers since the Senegalese was one of the players whose champions of France had to offload. Another Parisian midfielder should follow suit, in this case Leandro Paredes. The Argentinian would have agreed with Juventus.
Gueye should not be the only Ligue 1 player to join Goodison Park. The Belgian midfielder of LOSC, Amadou Onana, should experience the same fate. The English club has made an offer of €40m for his services.
