In full mutation after the takeover of the club by the American Todd Boehly, the English club should experience a turbulent summer transfer window. While several players are announced on the departure, like Mason Mount, Edouard Mendy or Mateo Kovacic, the Blues could attract some elements, in defense as at the forefront.

On loan to Chelsea this season, the Portuguese João Felix multiplies the positive declarations with regard to the English club, not hesitating to denigrate Atlético Madrid, where the striker has a contract until 2027. An agreement between Chelsea and the Spanish club will be needed for João Felix to commit permanently to the 10th in the Premier League. The striker seems in any case to admire the British formation, according to comments relayed by Fabrizio Romano: “At the moment I’m on loan here at Chelsea, I don’t know the future yet but I’m here and I can already see that it’s a big club with a big project. It is clear that Chelsea are a great European team, I feel it and I see it”.

A new positive statement towards the Blues, to force a transfer next summer, while João Felix does not shine especially on the field (2 goals in 7 PL games).

Lukaku associated with Felix?

The Portuguese could be associated in attack, next season, with a loan from Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku. Very disappointing at Inter this season (19 appearances, 5 goals, 1 assist), the 29-year-old striker should not definitely join the Italian club. If Bayern Munich are on the lookout for the Belgian, Romelu Lukaku could ultimately stay at Chelsea, according to Graham Potter, the English club’s manager: “He has to finish the season well and then we have a decision to make. He’s someone I really like and admire a lot, but it’s something we need to talk about this summer.

Romelu Lukaku has a contract until 2026 with Chelsea.
