A summer rookie on the way out, a target already forgotten … the PSG transfer window is agitated

Paris Saint-Germain should change its face this summer after another disappointing season, particularly in the Champions League, and to a lesser degree in the Coupe de France.

Carlos Soler Fabian Ruiz PSG

Last summer, PSG recruited several elements, in defense (Nordi Mukiele), in the middle (Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches) or in attack (Hugo Ekitike). None gave complete satisfaction, and one of them could already pack his bags. Indeed, according to information from Defense CentralFabian Ruiz would have desires elsewhere.

Disappointed with his role in the team (29 appearances, 1 goal, 2 assists), the 26-year-old Spaniard, who signed for PSG for 23 million euros last summer, would like to return to La Liga. If Betis Sevilla, his former club (2016-2018), is interested, the former Neapolitan would rather have in his sights… Real Madrid. The Spanish club, which hopes to recruit Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) next summer, could lose several midfielders, including Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, at the end of the contract.

The entourage of Fabian Ruiz would work for a departure from the capital club, which will not retain him, a priori.

Disinterest of PSG for Thuram?

Selected with the French team for the first time in March 2023, Khéphren Thuram (22) panics big European clubs, like Liverpool. The OGC Nice midfielder has also been cited for Paris Saint-Germain next season, along with his brother, Marcus Thuram, and could replace Fabian Ruiz. Especially since, according to the recent revelations of RMC SportsKhéphren Thuram is actually considering a departure from Nice this summer.

That said, the French neo-international (1 selection) would move away from PSG. The French club would indeed not be interested in the arrival of the son of Lilian Thuram this summer. Paris would primarily target an attacker, like Victor Osimhen (Naples), while Neymar and Lionel Messi could leave PSG at the end of the season.

In the meantime, Liverpool, therefore, but also Manchester United, RB Leipzig or Newcastle United are on the lookout for the Nice midfielder.
