While he had been accused of behaving badly with his colleagues, Alexandre Ruiz does not regret his attitude.
Described as a tyrant by his former colleagues at BeIn Sports and sanctioned by the hierarchy for having spoken badly to Vanessa Le Moigne, journalist Alexandre Ruiz did not question himself. The one who officiates today at the competitor Free believes to have acted as any important official would have done.
Alexandre Ruiz left of his own accord
Asked by SoFoot for the needs of a file on BeIn Sports, the former presenter of the program “Le Club” fully assumes the attitude he may have had within the Qatari channel. “There was a lead to give,” he thundered, saying that anyway “in the end, it’s the presenter who jumps”.
Ruiz, however, was not fired by his hierarchy. It was he who resigned. Florent Houzot, director of Bein Sports France, confirmed it: “We listened to each other, and based on the feedback, we made a decision: the warning. I want to say that we never fired Alexandre Ruiz”.
The journalist of Spanish origin could therefore have remained in charge if he had wanted to. But, the truth is that a spring had broken and it was difficult for him to continue. Xavier Domergue, today on M6, recognizes that Ruiz had trouble rounding his nails: “Alexandre did not get along with everyone. He was dividing. He has a strong personality. A lot of influence within the editorial staff, no doubt that it displeased ”.
