In the mixed zone, Igor Tudor, the OM coach, appeared disappointed by the turn of the match: “We didn’t do enough to be able to win. We paid dearly for this truce mentally and physically too. The Croatian hailed the “good game” of Vitinha, tenured in point (no shot on target in the match), but who still has a “room for improvement”. The Portuguese, who was not “served enough”replay to “in the next weeks”. The Marseille coach said it was his “responsibility” that “those who are going through a hollow moment can rise again”.

Captain Valentin Rongier was less measured in front of the media: “I’m not going to be silly. We started this match very badly, it’s exhausting. The matches pass and look alike. We lose a lot of points at home, it’s exhausting, even if you don’t have to throw everything away. The former Nantes player does not understand “Why” the team has “so much trouble at home”while the Marseille club is performing away from home. “It would be a shame to ruin everything” concluded the middle.

Finally, for Dimitri Payet, who came into play, “the disappointment is great”. According to number 10, “we lacked a bit of rhythm and juice”especially since OM prepared for this match “in a hurry, with players arriving last night (Thursday)” of the international truce. “I don’t take that as an excuse but it must be underlined” reveals the attacking midfielder, who asks broadcasters “not having a match on Friday” after the truces.

Currently, OM are 2nd in L1, with 3 points more than Lens (3rd), who are playing this Saturday evening against Rennes (9 p.m.).
