Olympique de Marseille coach Igor Tudor is in contact with his former club Juventus.
There is no smoke without fire. As mentioned last weekend, Igor Tudor would now be closer to leaving OM than to completing his commitment with the Marseille club. There is the call of Italy and its former formation of Juventus and everything suggests that he will succumb to it.
Tudor, Juventus’ number 1 option
According to information from Corriere dello Sport, the Croatian would now be the preferred track for the Bianconera management to take over from Massimiliano Allegri on the team’s bench. The latter would currently live his last days at the controls of the Old Lady. The season without trophies and without European qualification would have been detrimental to him. The Tudor option therefore has many supporters internally, even if there are other avenues studied (Palladino, Italiano, Dionisi and Thiago Motta). A mutual interest because La Republica reveals that the Olympian coach is ready to jump on this opportunity.

Tudor knows Juve very well. For having been a player there between 1998 and 2005, but also for having worked there as an assistant coach at the time of Andrea Pirlo. He left fond memories there and Juventini officials hold him in high esteem, as does the whole of Italian football for the good job he did in Verona on his debut as head coach.
A few days ago, the manager of La Provence revealed that Tudor is just waiting for a sign to be able to return to his first love: “Tudor’s desire to return to Italy exists. At Juve, he is a bit at home. And he’s part of the family, but that doesn’t mean he’ll go to Juve.”. So, will this marriage take place and will OM have to look for a 4e coach in three years? We’ll get the answer soon enough.
