Jean-Clair Todibo compares the methods between Galtier and Favre

Christophe Galtier and OGC Nice, it’s over. From now on, the technician is on the PSG bench and it is Lucien Favre who has taken over with the Aiglons. Back at the club, the Swiss brings with him his methods which worked during his first stint (2016-2018). Jean-Clair Todibo (22) was not yet present and he is still learning to discover his new coach. “With Galtier, these were short and intense sessions. With Favre, they are long and intense. The longest of my career. We had a few double sessions during the day, it pulled the legs (smiles). Especially in the heat”he reveals Nice morning.

Very consistent last season, the former Toulouse and Barça explains that he enjoys more freedom on the ground. Where Galtier favored efficiency, Favre allows his players to have more creativity. “I was much more restrained last year. I don’t want to spit on that because it made me pass a course. Passing others means finding the right balance between madness and security. Galtier aimed for efficiency. Favre wants to mix pleasure with efficiency, I find freedom and we will have more fun playing football.
