Manchester City should register the reinforcement of Erling Haaland in the coming days. The Borussia Dortmund player should commit to five seasons with the English team.

According to information obtained by TMW, Erling Haaland’s future is already set. The Norwegian international would have validated the contract offer sent by Manchester City a few days ago. The player could therefore follow in the footsteps of his father, who played 38 games with the Sky Blues between 2000 and 2003. The amount of the operation should be that of his release clause, announced at 75 million euros for several months. As for his salary, it could reach 600,000 euros per week, one of the highest in Europe.

The case related to the Leeds native’s future has been open for several months. Despite a season made difficult by injuries, the striker has benefited from numerous offers. Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich have notably been linked to his name, although the Citizens soon seemed to be getting ahead of their competition. The merengue club, for example, seemed to want to associate him with Kylian Mbappé. In recent days, the Spanish press has claimed that the Madrid president has finally been cooled by the player’s injuries. But perhaps he did not have the means to align two XXL salaries. As for PSG, it remains subject to the choice of the native of Bondy to extend or not, which may not have allowed him to position himself frankly enough. The Parisians could in particular turn to Mohamed Salah, in the event of the departure of the Frenchman.

The future of Erling Haaland therefore seems to be taking shape a few days after the death of his agent, Mino Raiola. The striker could soon discover the Premier League, a championship supposed to correspond to his qualities. As a reminder, he has scored 28 goals and provided 8 assists in 28 games in all competitions since last summer.
