OL: Aouar in La Liga, it’s becoming clearer!

After having validated a first reinforcement, OL could soon authorize the transfer of one of its executives, Houssem Aouar. Discussions are said to be underway with Sevilla FC, with a view to a forthcoming departure. Corentin Tolisso could replace him.

Still considered disappointing, this exercise, Houssem Aouar should leave OL this summer. The player would have agreed with his leaders to leave, while no agreement has been reached for his extension. The French international would have several courtiers. Those last weeks, Sky Sport Italy and Nabil Djellit have announced negotiations with AS Roma and Leicester respectively. But it is in Spain that the midfielder could try to revive.

According to information obtained by the Spanish journalist Diego Plaza Casals (The Chiringuito), discussions are underway between the leaders of Lyon and their counterparts from Sevilla FC with a view to a possible deal. Monchi would be convinced that he could help Houssem Aouar regain his early career dynamics. Moreover, the Spanish game seems to fit his game well and could allow him to flourish.

OL are aiming for a big recruitment

On the side of OL, Jean-Michel Aulas announced an ambitious recruitment. The arrival of John Textor as the future majority shareholder should make it possible to have a nice envelope, this transfer window. The American businessman will indeed inject funds that will generate a capital increase of 86 million euros, the largest part of which will be devoted to transfers. Thus, after Alexandre Lacazette, the Rhone president would dream of bringing Corentin Tolisso back into the midfield. The Bavarian will be free of any contract in a few days. The Lyonnais would also target elements such as Tyrell Malacia (Feyenoord) or Issa Diop (West Ham).

Radius departures, Jérôme Boateng and Tino Kadewere seem pushed towards the exit, while Lucas Paqueta could join England, where Newcastle are trying to attract him. A few weeks ago, the English press mentioned a possible transfer of the Brazilian for 58 million euros.
