The new owners of Newcastle would like to rely on the expertise of Luis Campos, in order to develop their project.
According to the material published by Sky Sports, the new decision-makers of the Magpies are studying the profile of the former leader of the LOSC, with a view to offering him a position in their organization chart. In case of signature, the Portuguese would assume in particular the recruitment choices, which are currently the responsibility of manager Steve Bruce. The fate of the latter would nevertheless be sealed and he should soon receive a large check, in return for his dismissal.
Luis Campos particularly marked the spirits, in France, during his experiences in Monaco and Lille. He has demonstrated in both clubs his ability to identify young elements, then to sell them with substantial capital gains. We can notably mention Kylian Mbappé or Anthony Martial, in the principality, or Nicolas Pépé and Victor Osimhen, in the North.
As a reminder, the sale of the Newcastle club was concluded a few days ago for an amount of 350 million euros. A budget of 220 million euros would have been set in view of the next mercatos and Wesley Fofana would be one of the first targeted elements.
