The information caused a stir. Current coach of Tottenham, Antonio Conte would be ready to take over from Massimiliano Allegri on the bench of Juventus Turin, according to the Daily Star, and this during the season. Already passed by the Old Lady between May 2011 and June 2012 then between December 2012 and July 2014, the 53-year-old Italian technician did not fail to react to these revelations. In a press conference on Thursday, before the poster for the 9th day of the Premier League on the ground of Arsenal on Saturday, the former coach of the Squadra Azzurra denied and declared his love for the club of the London capital, which the Transalpine coaches since November 2021.

“A lack of respect for the coach”

“It’s incredible. In this period, I think it’s a lack of respect for the coach who works at Juventus and for me who works at Tottenham. We have just started the season. I have often spoken about this subject and I have always said that I was happy and that I enjoyed my time with Tottenham. We have the whole season to find the best solution for the club and for me, and of course I am enjoying my time at Tottenham. I have a great relationship with the owner and Fabio Paratici (the general manager). I don’t see any problem at the moment in the future. We both signed the contract. I don’t want to listen to anyone talk about that.”

With Antonio Conte under their command, Hugo Lloris’ teammates sit third in the Premier League with 17 points, level with Manchester City and a length behind Arsenal. In the Champions League, Tottenham is in second place in Group D with three units. After a success against Olympique de Marseille (2-0), the Londoners lost on the lawn of Sporting Portugal (0-2).
