After the end of the season, some players will have to wait a bit before going on vacation. This is particularly the case for internationals from African countries who are still playing in the qualifications for the next CAN. Morocco, already qualified, will face South Africa (which is playing its qualification), then Cape Verde in a friendly match. This Friday, coach Walid Regragui unveiled an expanded list of 28 players with surprises.

The Moroccan coach has decided to do without Abde Ez, who performs with Osasuna, and young talent Bilal El Khannouss. The two players are left at the disposal of the U23 who will compete in the CAN in June. The latter, which takes place in Morocco, is a qualifier for the 2024 Olympics. The central defender of Union Saint-Gilloise Ismaël Kandouss knows his first call-up while Adam Masina, Fahd Moufi or Youssef Maleh return to the group.
